Recently top vocal instructors have learned the benefits of using singing software in their studios to help with pitch voice problems. In the past a teacher relied on their objective memory to point out pitch areas and the teach now has a full screen of data that can be shared with the vocal client. The best use for a teacher is to use the software at strategic times when working on pitch. For example, the focus of the lesson is on tone quality, pointing out pitch mistakes may not be productive. However, the vocal coach can structure the lesson to include a few minutes to focus on vocal pitch and gain rapid results within a few minutes.

The best combination of usage, is for the student to purchase a student version where they can practice at home and integrate the software use into daily vocal practices. Within five to ten minutes a day, a vocalist can dramatically improve chronic pitch problems using singing software, even when the problems have been there for year. The benefits continue, even after the software is no longer users. After about two weeks of not using the singing software, pitch voice problems will gradually return in the following few weeks.
