Mizuno Glove Review

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

h over 100 years of Glove making experience Mizuno has created their version of a Rembrandt painting. The Mizuno Pro Limited is a glove series that is hand crafted to the highest quality and standards in its own certified facility in Shanghai China. In this glove series Mizuno uses a revolutionary 4D Technology that features position specific patterns. The GMP7 is a 12.75″ Outfield pattern that is reinforced in the ring and pinky fingers giving the glove a strong foundation.

The extremely deep pocket and forgiving Trap-Eze Web is hand crafted with the thought of taking away doubles. Deguchi Leather is used because of its out of this world durability and soft feel, giving you a timeless product. The palm of the glove says “Mizuno Pro, Major Quality, Limited Edition”. On the back pinky finger it states that this glove is made in its own IS09001 certified facility in Shanghai China by a certified Mizuno Glove Craftsman. It comes in its own box in a black cloth carrying sack that has Mizuno Pro on the outside. What does your Rembrandt come with?

ARIZONA WOMEN’S SOFTBALL GOES BACK TO BACK!!!

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

The Wildcat softball team throws 5 runs in the 5th inning of the National Championship to give them their 2nd National Championship in as many years.  Both the Lady Vols and the Wildcats depended on Worth Sports products at the plate and in the field.

During the best of 3 game series between Arizona and Tennessee you witnessed some very good defense.  In the championship game on Wednesday you witnessed what happens when elite athletes use elite equipment.  A 5 run fifth inning from Arizona sealed the deal for the National title. A 2 run single and a 3 run home run all with the 2008 all composite Worth Mayhem fastpitch bat.  Blending 5 layers of aerospace grade composite fibers the top 2 teams in the nation choose to use Worth products exclusively.  Worth does not stop there.  Both the Wildcats and the Lady Vols use Worth gloves in the field also.  The Worth Liberty was in full swing at this year’s college world series.  The Liberty fastpitch softball gloves feature 100% cowhide leather, pro patterns, deerskin palm lining, premium rawhide lacing.  Look for the Worth Mayhem softball bats and the Worth Liberty Softball gloves at parks in your area available now.

Memorial Day Thoughts

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

With the major league baseball season in full swing and many baseball fans rooting on their favorite teams in hopes of a pennant race and possibly a chance to see their favorite team play in October.

The recent passing of Memorial Day raised some reflection in many Americans minds. Often overlooked is the United States involvement in Iraq. Daily life for Americans goes on without thought of the American forces and the job they are doing in the gulf coast.

Lets reflect for a moment how the United States being at war affects our national pastime. Just prior to spring training in 1941, Pearl Harbor was bombed and America was thrust into a war. Major league baseball could have gone unaffected by all this but fortunately it was not. Major league baseball player’s some in the early stages of their careers and some right in the prime of their careers stepped up to the plate for the good of their country. Many of these players sacrificed over 3 years of their baseball career with great pride and no regrets. We are not talking about average players who did this. The likes of Warren Spahn, Ted Williams, Enos Slaughter, Bob Feller, Yogi Berra, to name just a few.

To keep this in perspective how would Americans react if current Major league player’s such as Josh Beckett, Dontrelle Willis, Joe Mauer, Jason Varitek, and Manny Rameriez signed up VOLUNTARILY to fight the war in Iraq??? It seems that this day in age PATRIOTISM by Americans with stature whether it is professional athletes, movie stars or whoever. They want to support the war but only from a DISTANCE!!! It is amazing how the times have changed over the years. Not always for the BETTER!!!
